1. WHAT IS PROFILE 3? Profile 3 or Profile 130/35 is a profile with small pitch and low overall depth . This profile is popular in Japan and Korea. Profile 3 with pitch of corrugation is 130 mm and overall depth is 35 mm (without thickness of sheet) (see in below photo).

2. WHAT IS PROFILE 7? Profile 7 or Profile 177/51 has a very broad appeal. This profile is most popular in the world which is widely used in residential building, agriculture and industrial application. Profile 7 with pitch of corrugation is 177 mm and overall depth is 51 mm (without thickness of sheet) (see in below photo). DURAGREEN Profile 7 is designed for roofs of 5° slant and over. It is a high strength fibre cement sheet with variety in length and width and thickness that is easy to choose for your roofs and projects.

The reason for the distinction between profile 7 and profile 3 is due to the difference in pitch of corrugation and overall depth. Profile 7 (177/51) is with longer pitch and higher depth than Profile 3 (130/35).

3.WHAT IS DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PROFILE 7 AND PROFILE 3? People asked if the materials that make up profile 3 and profile 7 are different? The answer is “No”. If requirements in material are the same, production will be kept in material for these two profiles. One other small difference between two profiles is using habits around the world. Profile 7 is most popular in the world, while Profile 3 is popular in Japan and Korea. But it doesn’t mean only Japan and Korea can produce Profile 3 and use them.
